When you give into your child’s tantrum because silent tears are streaming down your face, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

When you look at your counterpart and beg for their help, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

When you sit on the couch and cry because you wish you had help, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

When you walk away from your child when they are screaming, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

When you argue with your child because you refuse to back down to them, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

When you feed them nothing but dessert for breakfast because you are sick, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

When you put them in their room with all of their toys because you need a break, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

When you hire a babysitter just so you can go eat food without having to share it, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

If you are eating food and refuse to give them what you have on your plate, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

When they hurt themselves and you don’t cry, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

If you don’t donate your extra milk, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

If you drink wine at night just to unwind from a hellish day, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

If you don’t shower for days on end because you are too busy with your child, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

If you stay at home all the time, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.

If you go back to work immediately after having your child, it doesn’t make you a bad mother.
